being a former teacher and librarian.

Peter Hillary, son of the great adventurer Sir Edmund Hillary, made history in 1990 as the first son to have followed in his father’s footsteps to the summit of the world’s highest mountain- Mt. Everest. Together they became the first father and son to establish new routes across Antarctica and the South Pole. Hillary is an
explorer and philanthropist living in New Zealand and
has over 30 expeditions in his career.

figures in broadcast journalism, has been with NBC News
for 44 years. Brokaw has hosted the NBC Nightly News, Today, has been NBC Political Correspondent, and
curently acts as NBC Special Correspondent. Brokaw has interviewed every president since Lyndon Johnson and
has covered every presidential election since 1968.
Brokaw has also written articles for several publications
and authored several books,including his first best seller, “The Greatest Generation.”
